without a doubt, 2-18-1971. Wharf Rat makes its debut, and not only that, but it does it sandwiched smack dab in the middle of easily a top 10 Dark Star. the sugar magnolia is great, a real good Candyman, i could go on and on. get this show asap

12/10/71 St. Louis- always a favorite brainmelt of mine, with its multisegment Other One , and surprise appearance of Top Of The World... also a sweet Chinacat jam in the NFA!

12/15/71 Ann Arbor -killer Dark Star!

4/26/71 Fillmore East- Duane Allman sitting for the first three tunes of set II!!

i'll second 4-17-71, but that show is notable for the 28 minute long good lovin'. definitely the tops in terms of pigs rapping,which is also why lovelight is fun

anything from the closing of the fillmore east shows. they even played with the beach boys one night. now thats unique!!!4-29-71 has my favorite midnight hour

12-7-71 and 12-14 are both really fun with run rudolph run, but they really just epitomize the '71 sound morphing into '72

Being a big 1971 Dead fan, this has wetted my appetite. Now I have what some may consider a stupid question. What exactly do I have to do in order to download those shows? Excuse me, but I have to admit I am pretty much an ignorant about most things computer-related.
