Seems unnecessary, but I don't think I'm the target market for this. I would guess this would help those less literate in Googling.
And how is Google going to handle MPA/RIAA requests to take down (not catalog) lyrics? If you do a search on Grateful Dead, then select the first link, then select an album, then a song, boom!, snippet of lyrics displayed plus 3 or 4 direct links to the whole song lyric. I'd like to see Google vs. RIAA/MPA. Google has enough money to afford a length legal battle.
