When it doesn't fit anywhere else

I was with my 18 year old nephew and we were playing guitar and I brought up Jason Becker. He didn't know who he is. ( I almost said "was" there instead of "is", I had to retype it - sorry Jason)

He was much more than a shredder. He is a musical genius. If you haven't seen his story, it pops into my head often. Very very sad indeed. Makes me realize how fortunate I really am.

Jason is and always will be an inspiration for me. Watch this video.

Jason is awesome. Seems like a real nice guy from the interviews I have seen. he has played a guitar similar to my Carvin. the classical pieces played on the electric are pretty cool 8) I cant do that stuff, ever, I like those techniques, coolness.

Mozart and such I believe>>>Long video>>

Good clean fun that is. I was watching that video for a bit last night. Sad about the ALS, I think he is dealing well, I admire him for that. Inspirational .

I have been to the Carvin store in San Diego, but nothing like that would happen when i was there :-?
