i think that is a damn good show especially scarlet->fire it sounds amazing and the intro rocks with sugar. I think the highlight of the show is terrapin it has a damn good jam. also nfa rocks out forever which kicks ass.

I realize the original poster was asking about the CD, but...

If you have a good surround sound system, get the Closing of Winterland DVD and crank it up. The Dolby5.1 audio on that one is superb. It's my favorite commercially released Dead DVD by a pretty decent margin.

My Dad got the Closing Of The Winterland a few years back in a bundle from GDStore.com along with a shirt and the DVD for Christmas. The DVD was good and the CD was alright but they were nothing really spectacular. I like the GD Movie and Movie Soundtrack a ton better, mainly because Donna really hadn't started getting REALLY annoying. Well there's my 2 cents for what it's worth.
