So, me and my friends are out on our daily lunch break and someone sparks a joint. "ok, cool."
We get back to school and everythings just normal. Then, the last hour of the day one of the administrators calls me out of class and escorts me down to 2 waiting police men. "oh shit." I then spend the next hour and a half trying to save my ass, which isnt working. My parents are already steaming mad from me going to a festival that weekend, they are even more pissed when they are getting a call from the school telling her to pick me up because I'm "under the influence" (which I was damn near %100 not high by the time the administrator got me). They came to this conclusion because my friend smelled somewhat and I was with him. It gets even better when my back pack is searched and they find a leatherman, which is a multitool with a knife on it (I still had it from the festival). At this time I'm told that being high and in possession of a weapon is grounds for me being expelled. As of now I'm suspended until monday and face a possible expulsion, and for sure a pre-expulsion. "fuck"

That sucks Gumbo...I work for a school dist, and they pull the same shit here, zero tolerance ...right, unless your a Principal and your banging chicks on your desk in your office, than you get to retire with a pension. I hope you get thru this, and fly right thru the rest of school, remember you are supporting terrorism(lol) doing what your doing.

Man I sad to hear that, bu that wisconsin for you. When I was in high school I was in a little hick bumblefuck town called Winneconne and they pulled shit like that all the time. Thankfully I never got caught but one day they had a locker search while all of the kids where in class and I had like a bowl in my locker for lunch and they never found it. They even had a dog, I dont know how they didn't find it but I think they should fire that dog lol.

Man you'll be ok, I had a freind that was a year younger than me. So the day we graduated he came to out senior party and went to school the next day still drunk and hungover and he got busted was kicked out for the rest of the year and some of his senior year. However he is now accepted to Boise State and I am moving with him there. And trust me he had alot more than just that on his record, he had possession and also was cought with a 4 foot bong in his trunk. you'll be ok with college trust me man, may just take a year longer than you wanted it to.

The school binds students by rules not to hurt you but to keep a proper environment for all. It can be easily argued that a stoned student gets nothing from the class and is a distraction. Not saying you are but hence the rules.

Your folks are probably concerned that you are getting too wild and they can't help bring ya back and maybe this is the wake-up call you need.

I was expelled from high school three times (twice from the same school - once as a boarded and once as a day student). I definately don't recommend it, because I had to explain A LOT when I got into college, but I did survive and I laugh about it 25 years later.

I work for a school too and I can assure if I'm "banging chicks " in my office I won't retire with a pension. As far as the kid getting caught, well, too bad. Lots of us smoke, but if you do it in public or at work or at school, you know the consequences. You knew what u were doing. You were caught, though rather shadily, but caught nonetheless. It's not the end of the world and I hope you get back in, but I also hope it will be a lesson learned. I learned the hard way too when I was young. How about waiting until 3:00...

Whatever you do don't cop to the smoking charge. They will say they will go easier on you if you admit to it but that is not the case. The only way they got you on that one is if you admit to it. Theres no law against hanging out with someone who smells like the wrong end of a bong. They got you on the knife and your going to have to take that one but in the end you will survive.
My daughter brought in a water bottle with rum and soda into her school for their friends birthday. Got ratted out by a classmate and ended getting the boot for the rest of the semester for "distrubution of a controlled substance". They made no distinction between what she did and someone selling crack on the school grounds. She got accepted to 8 universities last year.
As far as the police dog sory... I went to Jamaica of few years back with the wife and kids. I played golf one day and a guy working at the course slid me a big ol spliff and said find him if I needed anything on the island. I put the spilff in my back pocket and forgot about it. A week later I fly through Miami and while waiting for my luggage with my family a police dog comes up to me two times. Being a dog person, I petted it it and the cop pulled the dog away both times. I got home, took off my pants and out falls the joint. I shit a freakin brick.

I bet you're a teacher, you need to be a higher administrator to get away with the good stuff, trust me it happens in your district too...theft, drugs, sex. You can bet your ass custodians don't get away with it but Superintendents do!

No, not the case. My mom is actively trying to bust me every chance she gets. If I had the balls I would tell you guys all the crazy things that has happened between us these last few years. We have almost *no* relationship, I awoke this morning to my moms husband banging on my door asking if "the doper was in there" and generally just giving me shit and telling me all the shit I have to do today. It goes much deeper than any of you know. It's also a personal issue between me and the administrators, so they will make this a bigger deal than it is. they were so pissed that I wouldnt consent to a test these officers were gonna give me to see if I was high, so they suspended me for 3 days just for being "guilty by assosciation," or me not telling them anything. By the time i met them i wasnt even high, but I knew if failed their tests (which I had no chance of passing even being %100 sober) than there was a good chance I would be charged.

After reading this and your other posts I see that you and I are a lot alike. You are a rebelous teenager, partying, argueing at home and fucking up a lot.

I was suspended a couple of times too. I loved it when my friends and I got suspended. All our parents worked and we just partied all day.

My parents even called the cops on me. The cops took away a couple of joints and put me in the back of car and dropped me off a couple of blocks away. Many cops were a lot cooler back then.

The difference is when I was doing it, it was the 70's and all these school rules were not in place and frankly it was a different time, a much more tolerant era. My teachers didnt care if I was stoned just so long as I was quiet about it. Some of them even knew I was selling drugs in school.

I know you are almost done with school and your home life sounds like it is unbearable for you. But here is the situation, if you can just clean up and fly right for a very short time ( although it may seem like forever to you, it isnt), you will be out of there and wont have to go back. You can still go to college.

If you cant clean up then you really do have a much bigger problem. I couldnt clean up and was out of my house before I finished high school (I still graduated) and I was on a tear from there with some very serious consequenses that make getting suspended from school sound great.

I was also busted at school for puffing on my lunch break. I was suspended, had to see the Juvie judge AND deal with the wrath of my orthodox Jewish mother.

Now I have a full scholarship for grad. school, and my mom and I regularly joke about all of the stupid (no offense) things I did in high school.

So, while you may be freaked out now, in 5-10 years, the whole thing will seem very comical.

Here is what you do:
Stop smoking dope
Obey your parents
Stop going to festivals
Pay attention in school
Graduate high school
Get into some therapy since you have been dealt a pile of shit larger than most young men can handle and it appears alot of this may have stemmed from that.
