I think it is a great recording, one of their better studio tracks IMO. Also think the video direction is really nice. It was pretty awesome back in the day. Times were tough after Jerry went down with the coma, had to relearn the guitar, (special thanks to Merl Saunders for the assist), and then when they came back with the album and video, it was a pretty big deal and a pretty inspiring comeback. The album went platinum. The video helped.

Agreed, I love the video. It may not be great today, but it was back then. I love the part when the Skelton Phil catches the rose in his mouth. I mean, all in all, it's pretty good effects for back then w/ the skeletons playing and all (even though you can clearly see the strings)

EDIT: plus, you can't beat Mickey in a C's jacket! Kind of funny how that ties into our previous Bill Walton conversation.

where theyre all dressed up in cowboy gear. i got a pic of them in the outfits in my Grateful Dead family album. theyre all in trenchcoats and mickeys got a snare hangin from his shoulders military style, Jerrys got this huge top hat. you guys never seen that picture or read that caption?

Ok, I gotta come clean.

I'm a big a Bobby fan as there is, but I am EMBARRASSED by that Bucket video . That is f'kin awful, mate....holy shit. Someone bury that back where it belongs.
