When it doesn't fit anywhere else

hey guys, i cant seem to find a free burning program online that features the option of eliminating the 3 second gap between tracks. i know that Nero offers this feature, but i have had problems with that recording program. i.e. songs scrambled, various mp3's not on the list being burned into the middle of a show. i've downloaded half a dozen free programs and have found none with this option.

if you gotta link please come forth, i have reinstalled Nero too many times to think itll work properly again.

The trick to Nero is to drop the folder in not the tracks. That's how they don't jumble.

Now everyone will prolly disagree with me here but Itunes works great for me. Never any problems. Easy arrangement of seconds and you have volume adjustment options and gapless playback.

In most programs you can choose to record 'dis-at-once' instead of 'track-at-once' and that will eliminate the gaps.

Or if selecting a series of tracks to drag over, highlight them from the bottom up rather than top down

actually the folder thing worked for keeping order of tracks, but i still get "ghost" mp3's, not everytime, but often enuff to ruin a handful of cd's from a stack. something must be messed up with windows here, i'm running win2000NT. XP is a little too intense for this ol' box of bolts too handle, and '98 just isnt compatable enuff with some programs. somehow somewhere some pathway is getting confused. im gonna reinstall windows today and see if that helps.
