Yep, dig Jorma. I had an old closing of the fillmore album and Bill Graham called him 'the Scandanavian Sex Symbol' or something like that. Now I never felt that way about him, really, no, believe me!
Anyway then I heard the first Hot Tuna album. I love that album and 'Burgers', but mainly with the Airplane. Wish I could go to Fur Piece. Jack is great also.

I remember seeing Yorma many times in the late 70's. One show, Larry Correalle came out and played by himself for 2 hours. Then Yorma came out, sat in his chair with a bottle of gin next to him.

He sat there for 4 hours and played until the bottle was empty and then he was gone. That was at the SUNY New Paltz NY. It was a great great show.

Years later I saw him play at a dumpy bar in Bergenfield NJ, I think it was called AJs or something and there were about 25 people there.

I felt so bad about it because he is fantastic and I think not nearly as known as he should be.

anyone who has the money and time is making a big mistake by not going to Fur Peace Ranch and taking classes with Jorma or Jack....what a blast!
