Have some problem getting DVDs this side of the pond in the format my machine will read but:

Have just been on Amazon and there is a DVD simply entitled Grateful Dead due for release in August this year but no details are given. Will keep an eye on it to see if any further info becomes available.

I guess it's a tie between Closing of Winterland and
The Grateful Dead Movie, the only reason it's a tie
is because of the second DVD of the Movie, it's sooo
good!

I don't get the Downhill From Here DVD, I mean it's not
bad but it's...just not GREAT.

Don't have Truckin' Down to Buffalo and Dead Ahead,
though, I'm hoping they're great!

Anthem to Beauty is great, I've seen it several time!
But is a documentary, so I don't think it fits into
this list, somehow.

I wish there were more documentaries, I'm getting tired
of only finding tidbits on youtube!
PS: I've seen those two fan-made documentaries I
don't remember the names of, but they are so
depressing.

I think it's about time for a new DVD release, and not another one with white hairs and daisy dukes. There has to be some quality vintage film of the Boys in a more youthful, energetic and animated state.
