Wow, i can't believe so much great music is despised!

Some people'd really rather listen to Backstreet Boys than Rush or Rusted Root or Led Zeppelin?

Here's ten, completely off the top of my head and not in order, that I'll never press play on:

1.. Backstreet Boys
2.. N'Sync/Justin Timberlake
3.. Britney Slut
4.. Christina Whoreguilera
5.. Babs
6.. Elton John
7.. Indigo Girls
8.. Wham/George Michael
9.. Phish
10. Culture Club/Boy George

i'm sure there are more, that's all i can think of now.

1.Just about any modern country "artist".
2.White Stripes (even though I bought one of their fucking albums)
3.Any so called "artist" that feels the need to sample or should I say, rip off, other peoples music because they aren't talented enough to come up with anything original or unable to play an instrument.
4. The current administration that is not running our government.
5.Grown men that are insecure about their penis size and think it's cool driving around in monster 4x4's.

Oh, and people like the tool that lives down the street from me and drives a BMW who put so much original thought into his personalized license plate that says "BEAMER". No shit Sherlock. Why don't you just go a step further and get one that says "CAR", or better yet "TOOL".

4. The current administration that is not running our government.

Don't you mean the current government that is not doing anything (or next to nothing) for the people? Congress, on both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Republicans alike, have such an unbelievably low favorable rating. At least the Bush administration has prevented America from being hit by terrorists again since 9/11 plus they got rid of Hussein. Both great things. Haven't done much else but not completely horrible.

But what does this have to do with 5 worst bands???

The Rolling Stone magazine 'Top Lists' really pisses me off.

How they come up with these rankings? Reader's choice?

Kurt Cobain is really a better guitarist than Jerry Garcia or Peter Townshend? And what about Dr. Dre being ranked as a more important artist than the Grateful Dead, for example?

Here in Brazil the 'Rolling Stone' magazine doesn't have the status it has in USA. Do you guys over there take these lists serious?

I definitely do not. Maybe back in the day, when the magazine was more about the roots than it was pleasing sponsors & selling to the mainstream, but I take their stuff w/ a grain of salt. Afterall, it is just one opinion. The only thing that I truly still like are the uncompromised interviews, and even those are getting fewer and fewer.

I thought we were including other things than just music that pissed us off as well.

In that case, let me add some more:

1. road rage - what's the rush?? doing 90 and swerving in and out of traffic puts everyones life at risk and only gets you there 2 minutes earlier.
2. People who cut in line - we all waited patiently, so can you. this is especially bad on this side of the world. thank god they give out numbers at the bank here otherwise it's just a pushing match to see who can reach the counter first.

3. lower back pain - getting old sucks!!

4. computer viruses - little twerps that write these things should be shot. no trial, no jury. BANG!
