Alright definitely couldnt disagree more with that man. Whether or not you like it doesnt mean it isnt music. Hell I dont like country but that doesnt mean it isnt music. ive seen umphreys like 20 times, and bisco like 15. They are both great improvisational bands. UM makes up shit on stage, called Jimmy Stewart, and Jazz Odysee. It will be a great show if you are a fellow musician, and enjoy seeing great musicians.

I dunno. I like it. As a guitar player, I am a sucker for improv and guitar jams.
I am not sure how playing too much equates with not making music, but one man gathers what another man spills, I suppose. All 3 of these bands exhibit far more musicianship than 99% of the music thats out there. Jerry certainly has been critcized for "playing and playing" boring many listeners to tears. Just kinda what your into.

I think you will enjoy the umphreys show a bit more. Any Bisco I've heard sounded way too electronic, and I just cant dig or respect anything electric like that. Then again, I havent been to any of their shows and maybe what I heard was just their not so primo stuff. Either way let us know...

Just cause this guy doesnt like Bisco shouldnt bother anyone. No band is really actually bad, because theirs always someone to like them. This guy has just made it very clear that he despises everything about the Biscocity, but I despise lots of things, too.

If you can find a video, though, of 5-27-07 by the Biscuits, you can tell just by there faces that they really do love what they do. I don't think you can argue with that. Cheese doesnt like what it is they do, that's why their quitting. I saw Nershi at Wak with HTH and he seemed happier than ever to only be playing to about 100 people. I think if Bisco REALLY didnt like what they were doing, they would take the same road as cheese, because they all have their own side projects, but they're making new albums, playing AWESOME concerts lately, and getting involved in lots of stuff like headcount.

I'm not saying they DO love their jobs, but it's pretty clear to me that Bisco is pretty happy with where they stand.
