I too keep my guitar volume on “10” and a volume pedal, (Visual Volume), last in the chain, That way I achieve most of the classic OBEL benefits while still remaining wireless. The main difference is placement of the guitar’s tone controls in the chain.

They pair up to make a poor man’s King of tone. I have a pair of Prince’s on my full size board as well.

I have one! Also have a Rusch guitar so I won’t say which name is funnier lol

The pedal is terrific. I’ve tried a bunch and I think it’s favorite outside of the original Mutron. Lots of organic character, more than most others which I feel can sound a little basic, if that makes sense. Highly recommended.

I knew you'd dig it!

And everyone should have a mini-pedalboard for those times when you want to keep it simple and light. This is my CA mini-board (I have a second with somewhat different pedals in VA):

Has anyone gotten one of these yet?
Mine should be here in the next day or so. Currently using the 3leaf Proton EF. WE will see how it compares.
