My band Dead Enough will be playing at the Oakland Ballers Grateful Dead Night, Friday, July 25th, at Raimondi Park. The Ballers are an independent team in the Pioneer League. The "B's" have brought baseball back to Oakland following the departure of the Oakland A's last year.

We'll be playing for an hour before the game, and then throughout the game in the food truck concourse, renamed "Shakedown Street" for the evening. There will be a Tee-shirt giveaway to the first fans, as well as Grateful Dead trivia between innings.

Tickets available at oaklandballers.com. Use the code "deadenough25" for a 25% discount!

That’s rad. The Tacoma Rainiers are holding their Dead night on 7/24. I’ve reached out to them on behalf of our band (Stone Jack Ballers, Olympia WA) to see about us playing there next year cause I dont think they have live music this year, just taped music on the PA.

Good luck with the gig, hope you get a strong turnout!

I first reached out to them last year after their attempt at a Grateful Dead Night was pretty lame. They had a DJ who played about 20 seconds of Shakedown Street, then started scratching the record back and forth while rapping. In between innings they asked trivia questions of people in the stands. One was “who played lead guitar for the Grateful Dead?”. For another they played Truckin’ and asked the name of the song: a) Singing, b) Truckin’, or c) Rockin’. I drafted some better trivia questions for them this year.

If anyone is local, (S.F. Bay Area), and would like to attend, we have a few more free tickets I could email to you. I’ll check back here this afternoon before 2 p.m. leaving for the gig at 3.

The gig was a blast! Large and enthusiastic crowd before the game started. The Ballers scored 12 runs in the first four innings, so lots of people left the game and walled over to the food plaza where we were playing. Wound up playing 4+ hours with two 15 minute breaks. Big fun!

the vibe at this event was awesome, grateful dead music and baseball — perfect combo to chill with friends. one time after a concert like that I got curious how entertainment can be connected to gambling, found some plinko reviews at https://www.plinko1winindia.com and https://www.plinko1xbetindia.com, and then also at https://www.plinkobetwayindia.com. honestly, there’s tons of info, but for me live music and sports are still unbeatable!
