I have covered most of the dead tunes. I am wondering if anybody has and good ideas for some non dead tunes that I can get a good groove out of. Anything obscure that might be good to play live that might hit the people with a left handed monkey wrench.

I can think of tons but right now Whipping Post by the Allman's is at the top of my list. Wooden Ships by CSNY too.

Dreams by the Allman Brothers. Try some slide. The solo on that is great.

I heard it for the first time in a very long time on the Jam Channel on sirius and had to rewind a couple of time. Just fantastic.

I've been learning alot of classical lately... A couple songs I've been playing alot lately are Here Comes The Sun by the Beatles and The Inlaw Josie Wales by phish, both are real good acoustic tunes
