Hey now!
Just to preface, I use a Mexican Strat with Lindy fralins, no OBEL, into a JHS buffer, into a GE-7 into the Mu-Tron III. It’s an original Mu-Tron III that’s been ran through by Lingenberg so it should be up to “new” standard. The GE-7 is to boost the signal a bit as my single coils are like 5ohms and struggle to fully trigger the Mu-Tron.
Anyways, I usually can dial in a solid “Up” setting, Fire, Shakedown, Estimated, etc. but I struggle to really get THAT “down” sound for stuff like Dancin. Messing with the peak/gain knob only seems to help barely if at all, and then I’ve totally thrown off my setting for the “Up” songs. Any tips as to how to really get that lightsaber late 70s sound? Perhaps it’s my lacking of having Super Distortions or Dual Sounds.
Thanks all!
