Does anyone have digitized quad / surround live recordings?
Audience tapes, SBDs, radio broadcasts, etc etc
To play them back would probably need to arrange within a DAW or something similar but that's OK.
When searching for "quad" on archive.org I found a couple of results but it was typically referring to the fact that it was part of a quad radio broadcast, but afaik still only provided 2 stereo tracks.
Separate question for any other live sound nerds –
Did the Dead set up live quad PA systems at the shows? If yes, any idea what the panning/routing setup was like?
Did they just send a reversed LR to the rear? or did something different?
