I had an original Professional 2680, natural blonde finish like Bobby’s, but the version without the Tree of Life inlay (that was the 2681). It was HEAVY with a VERY chunky neck. Not my favorite.

I got one a while ago when Eastwood ran a Black Friday deal (must have been last year). I’ve made some upgrades to it: added an Ibanez logo (decal), the Tree of Life inlays (decals), and swapped in Seymour Duncan Antiquities pickups.

It’s a great guitar. I haven’t played it live yet, but it’s been fantastic to have around the house. The neck is really comfortable and not too chunky (unlike my Phred Blade, which has a very big neck). It’s also not as heavy as the original Ibanez models.

The only downside is that it’s neck-heavy, just like the originals. Other than that, it’s an amazing guitar—well worth it, especially if you can snag one on sale!
