Any one heard it?? It is definitly my favorite show. Jerry is all over the place(in a good way). The transition between china/rider is un heard of! not to mention its a great mix with good quality, or at least the one i have is.

yea i got that show a couple months back and love it. the eyes is just amazing, every time you think it has reached a peak, it goes even higher. and yea the china-rider is awesome, the i know you rider seems to have an early "dancin in the streets" feel to it, kind of "bouncy". i love that whole show, great stuff.

Good stuff. The "Here Comes Sunshine" from that was just featured in the Taper's Section this week. I love '73...probably my favorite year.

Yeah, great show. The part I love is right before the last song or second-to-last song. If you turn it up you can clearly hear Phil say, "Dark Star?" but Jerry doesn't go for it.

Now THAT would have been cool!

this jam turned into slipknot and is listed as such on several tapes but it wasn't officially slipknot till 74 i think

I cant believe we are 10 posts in and nobody has mentioned the Playin in the Band from this show yet.
Arguably one of the best (I love 8/27/72's playin too)..........I even think the boyz themselves were aware of how special the 5/26/73 playin was as 20 years to the date on 5/26/93 at Cal Expo they ripped into the best playin' of the 90's (imo of course) which was so far outside of what their usual jams were like in 93 that it almost had to be an homage.

That is actual fact, not opinion (imho of course)! The Cal Expo Playin easily stands head and shoulders above its peers ("Now THAT is music!" is how Kesey put it as it was happening)... the Kezar vs the vast array of incredible 72-74 PITB's, perhaps not so prominently, but it is a great one for sure.
