When it doesn't fit anywhere else

That anticipation and gidiness you would get after the set break and the boys took the stage. Everyone just hoping they would blow the doors open with a killer set. God, I miss that feeling. Nothing quite like it.

Yep, sorta like the first 6 months of being in love.

on that note, I wonder how listening to the Dead will be
when you get Alzheimers. First times every day?

Actually I have worked with Alzheimer patients extensivley over the years and they might not remember their own daughter or what they had for lunch 10 minutes ago but they can sing every word to a song from 50 years prior. Music therapy is big with those types of patients because it's one of the few things they do remember. Weird how the mind works (and doesn't).

Ya my mom is a speech therapist and works with patients with Alzheimer's, i remember she told me that she was singing some old jazz standard and the patient started singing too. Basically what Bodiddly said but ya.
