I think I have the oddest pairing of all.

Fall tour 1988 in New Orleans, a popular local band came out and played with the Grateful Dead. No it wasn't the Neville Brothers, it was the BANGLES. The one hit wonder chick band.

Deadbase is the way to go. I think they have a website you can access, too. I remember seeing the Dead at MSG with Mick Taylor and Hall and Oates? I think Suzanne Vega might have been there, also. Plus they played with John Fogerty at the Bill Graham memorial.

Ive also seen a pic of Jerry onstage with Bonnie Raitt, Ive wondered where thats from

I saw a New Year's show where Bonnie opened and then came out for Big Boss Man during the first set. Many others come to mind, Santana at Calaveras, etc.

Bonnie opened for the Garcia Band at the Greek Theater in Berkeley in 88 or 89.
