i working on the tune alberta as arranged by doc watson and im having trouble figuring out the arpeggio patterns he is picking out..i understand what chords hes playing but i just always have trouble (or not enough patience) figuring out arpeggios...if anyone knows the tune i could use some help...i dont know why these give me so much trouble, i bet its fairly simple i just never can focus enough to get them right.....

or billbbill?? you play fingerstyle dont you? if you dont know this tune any helpp you could offer would be appreciated

Don't know the tune doc. My finger style prowess is somewhat limited. If you can hook me up with the tune I'll check it out.

Just did a quick search and found this on youtube though I'm not sure how close this is to the Doc Watson version.

its 3/4 tsig and the arp sounds like 1/8 notes so maybe im hearing differently but i think your missing something

im hearing it as 1 & 2 & 3 & 1....

i knew it couldnt be that difficult but its one area i always struggle with...i usually just arpegiate freely and dont worry about an exact pattern but this song is mostly all arp.'s so i wanted to get something kinda accurate to thee version im working off of...thanks again
