That Snow White was VERY musical. Not so much M3 but holy cow I really enjoyed that demo.

I tried out the Snow White and the Proton but ended up getting rid of them. One recent and apparently pretty rare one that I've been using lately is the Circuit City Dr Cream pedal. https://circuitsalad.com/category/audio ... s/filters/
It's a surface mount board with three hand made LDRs. I was attracted to it's size and simplicity.
It would be nice to hear from others about how well their envelope pedals play with the unity gain buffer over all. I've found that the buffered output while definitely bringing out some high end and clarity whether the obel is in or out, it doesn't play very well with the envelope filters. Now, I've never installed Waldo's buffer yet as the first guitar I had the obel in had a Transistor based fet buffer from a hacked pedal I picked up somewhere as I new virtually nothing about the intricacies of Garcia's rig circa 1995 and once it was together, I just left well enough alone. The buffer I installed in a Jerry caster a couple years ago after retiring my tiger copy is CAE unit. I've actually been considering using a compressor to control the input signal peak to the envelope filter to try and increase the size of the Goldilocks window for gain and peak knobs. It seems to be very difficult to dial in and maintain the right ratio of gain to peak with most of these pedals even the Mutron.
