For anyone curious, I put together a video on the MC50 side by side with another power amp to really look at how the Macintosh tone differs. Just trying to take some of the mystery out of the mystique of the Macintosh.
That's interesting. I just got my pair back from being serviced and have a 67 Twin with JBLs as well as an FYD and SMS that I had previously played with with a Carvin DCM200 and I feel like the Mc is definitely providing something in the Jerry department that I didn't/haven't received out of any of my previous options, good as they are.

Ha! Good eye. Yes it is. My daughter and I went to the estate sale of an elderly UK couple and the folks hosting the sale gave it to me. I must have really being eyeing it.
