I think Ace is a way underrated album for Bob, because on the second listen, it's saweet. Especially the Black Throated Wind and Looks Like Rain.

Bob and Donna both sing passionately and Jerry plays a great solo especially in the part based on the 'written in the letters..." melody. This would be the Travis Bean guitar as well.

Hey Robey.
The show you are referring to is actually 3/30/88 Brendan Byrne Arena, East Rutherford, NJ....and yes it rocks. Bob and Jerry are in synch and the thunder adds ambience. Also played after a great Shakedown 2nd set opener.
