Hello all - I am wondering...

Do any of you using the SMS/JBL combo use the bright switch or keep it off? I feel like it sounds a bit more true to the sound I am used to hearing from Jerry when playing at lower volumes. Does this seem odd? Is something wrong with my speakers and/or my ears?

Currently I'm using the dark switch. My SMS is in a walnut combo box which imparts some brightness and snappiness.
