I know Truckin' was a big tune to segue out of into The Other One, Stella etc
but in a discussion with my band mate I contend that sometimes they did
not always segue, sometimes they just ended it by slowing down quickly at the very end of the jam part.

the thing is I can't find any examples of that

I'm at a loss, can anyone help me on this debate?

Give a listen to 6/16/90. It's on video at YouTube or just audio on the archive.
The setlist shows an arrow between Truckin & Touch of Grey but personally I don't feel this arrow is being used correctly (and many more on other set lists). I like to see the arrows used when they intentionally try to blend from one song to another such as the China>Crazy>Rider at Laguna Seca in the late 80's.
Another one is from Golden Gate Park 1975. I'm not positive but I think that one was played by itself along with a Help>Slip and no Franklins. What a great show !
