Greetings all.

I'm selling a gently used Alembic blaster with brass plate and mint 15' Lava cable for a guitar with an OBEL. New the blaster sells for $95 and the cable is $100. There are no issues with either item. I switched out the blaster for a Scott Walker booster/buffer system and bought The Wheel junction from Andrew Olson which needed a different cable to work with my rig. I'm planning to list them on eBay soon but thought I'd see if there's any interest here first. Feel free to make an offer.

Almost forgot...I also have a DiMarzio SDS-1 from about 1978 that I'd like to sell. I had it in my Strat for years but then went back to the original '73 pickups.

I've got a question for yu. Being someone who's tried both the Stratoblaster and the Scott Walker boost, which do you prefer? I've got a Jerry Wolf replica, built by Troy Post, and I wanna install a boost, and buffer, into the thing. At first, I was thinking the Alembic Stratoblaster and the Wald buffer, but now, I'm leaning more towards the Scott Walker combo. So, what do you suggest?

At first, I was thinking the Alembic Stratoblaster and the Wald buffer, but now, I'm leaning more towards the Scott Walker combo. So, what do you suggest?

I prefer the Walker booster/buffer system to the stratoblaster. I've added it to my Walker Phantom and '73 strat and it compliments both guitars nicely. One advantage of Scott's system is that it comes with an adjustable gain which I hooked up to a push/pull pot; in the "up" position the booster is activated and the gain can be easily adjusted. The gain on the stratoblaster can be adjusted but you need a small screwdriver so it's difficult to do on the fly. I just ended up doing the set and forget thing. I can't comment on how it would compare with a Wald buffer but I'm sure that Scott would discuss the exact specs with you.
