I had never heard this til now. Watching this good documentary on Netflix called "Muscle Shoals," and they interview Percy Sledge and Donna Jean about recording this song. lol, had no idea about that one

She has a great backing vocals on many Muscle Schoals cuts.
I've read that the night she met Keith they were in a club and the songs that were playing on the jukebox were almost all songs she'd sung on. Yeah, she had a lot going on before the Dead came into her life.
