We saw the show in South Burlington Vermont. The sound was good to excellent. The video was great. Excellent closeups at times of Jerry's hands on the guitar, and great close ups of Jerry singing. Possibly a show showing a peak before the passing of Brent. Overall the show was presented with minimal video editing. No spacey effects, just some camera to camera switching. Jerry was animated, happy and had no trouble remembering the words. Great Sugaree, 2nd song of the first set, great video, "Jerry teaching Sugaree intro". You could often see Jerry palming the pick and then fingerpicking and back to the pick. Jerry whips out WOLF for midi flute sounds on space. Highly entertaining for any dead head, and if you are young enough to have missed the boys in concert, this was a good show to catch.
I just wish I could get a hold of the whole show, but just the continuous Jerry cam(s). Never understood why when Jerry is soloing, the film editor thinks its a good idea to show anything BUT JERRY. None the less there were some great closeups of Jerry mixed in there.
Bobby wearing short shorts! Possibly EPIC morning dew closes out the second set.
Dear GD productions: THANKS!
