That doesn't sound like he is using the MXR...just Wolf pushing the Fender preamp hard, MAC>JBL's, etc...

By the spring of 78' he was using the MXR pretty heavy with The Dead...you can hear it with Samson & Delilah, Passenger, Might as Well, Sunrise, etc...

It has that distinct "bees in a box" buzz when he kicks it in...
