After 19 years I decided to weigh my Cripe. I knew it was heavy. It cashes in at a respectable 11.2 LBs. Anybody else have a heavy guitar? Is it your main guitar? I have not played the Cripe regularly the last few years. I've been using an AO wolf mostly.I'm getting back into my Cripe but it's a killer. ( insert" I'll be happy to take it off your hands"comments now)

Most of my guitars have been, and are heavy... Comfort Strapp is the answer I've used one for the past 10 years and it makes all the difference... I only wished I'd had one in the 70s, 80s, 90s

Indeed. I mostly use 3" wide straps...much more comfortable than the standard thinner ones. The other thing is if you keeop switching back and forth to a lighter guitar you will never get used to the weight really.
