I would like to get the signal after my Trem tube mod, which by my calculations would be further down the line. Thanks...I think I have spotted the joint you are referencing, and it is indeed akin to the spot in the circuit where the Twin diagram for 1 channel taps it. I am hoping I am reading the other design on Dozin's diagram right (the actual pic is of a snakepit later SF Twin and hard to make out) and the spot currently tapped in my amp will work out well for this peculiar situation. Boy I take back 1/2 of my cynicism about computers...it would have taken me weeks to get the info (if ever) I got in one night via the net.

Okay last chance for folks to warn me that Im about to fry my amps
Im gonna give it a try tonight. From what I gather, keeping a load on the output tranny or unplugging output tubes is something I need to be aware of.

Well it seems to work. What a terrific buy this old Princeton was. I have only played through it tapped for a few minutes but it sounds great and I am really pleased. Now to come up with $3k to buy the Scarlet Fire and my week will be more than I could imagine LOL.

This is becoming a diary of sorts lol
I noticed that the preamp (Princeton) seems to be hotter after running it thru the external Carvin Power amp. I will doublecheck to make sure it isn't like that on its own, but the front faceplate seemed very warm to touch. The out jack does have the shaft going to ground (chassis of amp).
