I'm not a festy kind of guy either, don't like mass party/camping or being kept awake by unending drum circle cacophony or having a drunk fall on my tent at 4am. But the article did mention that they are planning fewer festival gigs (probably Lockn to make up for canceling last year) and more extended residencies:

"The band plans on playing just one or two major headlining gigs this summer at a festival or festivals, and a series of residencies on the West and East coasts."

I'd be down for that.

Guess I'll be having my first Capitol Theater experience next year then. Have considered making the trip from Philly for Phil & Friends but have always balked. Will make it happen to see everyone plus one of the murderers row lead guitar players mentioned in the article. (Wow 2 baseball references!)
