I noticed the link on the home page about Bob Minkin's new book of Dead photos- looked great and I ordered mine.
The photo in the article of Jerry backstage at Laguna Seca looked familiar. An old friend had sent me a backstage photo a few years ago and Jerry looked identical. I checked with him and it was the same show. My friend is a pilot and for a while he was like Healy's "personal pilot" flying him to shows some of the time, so he had access. He also participated in the flower drop over the bay after Jer died. He's the guy that does "Rockwings" http://www.rockwings.com/index.htm
Anyway, here's the photo. The "nice looking lady" on Jer's lap was my friend's girlfriend at the time. And that might be Minkin himself in the back with the camera? And I always figured the guy in the upper left was Parish.
