My GCX unit is not working. The activated light is not coming on at start up. This has been on going and usually after a few tries the rig activates. Also it's not getting much power to the controller. So I bought an adaptor before my gig last weekend and got the controller to fully start up but it's not sending to the rack unit.

Could not get the activate light on last gig and had to rip my key pedals off the rack and go old school.

Anyone have any thoughts on the issue? It's gotta be on the rack unit. The 8 lights come on and off like they should at start up but the activated light does not stay on.

Call Voodoo Labs.
Those guys are really great. When I got my GCX I already had the older Ground Control. I called them because the manual was challenging. They still support the older Ground Control, and I'm sure they'll help you with your GCX. Including a send & repair if necessary.
