Robert - infrequent lurker from the Nashville area of TN - guitar/steel - I've been hacking at it since '79 - no band - I play 6L6 tubes getting spanked by some really clean 12AX7's. I use a semi-wolfed Strat as an input device ;)

Just wanted to voice my appreciation to all for your positive vibes and help over the years, Thanks!

Welcome aboard Robert! There's a couple of good steel players here. Do you play lap or pedal steel? I've got a nice mid-50s Gibson Century lap steel and a Kay from the same era. I'm a hack at it but they're fun to play.

ty, tcsned!
Yes, I am a pedal pusher (with only a couple years of experience) it's an addictive madness :)
I have a SD10 E9 and a D10 that is being restored/reworked. soon to be my main-line ax!!!! I am a glutton for punishment and C6 cswing/rock/jazz calls to me.

I've been through your neck of the woods/passing through while visiting my brother in the Richmond area.

Peace!

Hey, Robert. I'm Patrick, and I'm a pedal steel player, too. Though my main gigging guitar is a Carter D-10, I mostly play just the E9 neck. I'm a huge fan of Nashville. My wife and I try to go there once per year. We're heading down the day after Thanksgiving this year.

Thank you GarciaFan - I picked and played a vintage guitar like like (it had a faux wood finsish) at Gruhn's when I move here years ago... and quickly/carefully set it back down after noting the price

Good find! enjoy :peas:
