Check www.ratdog.org for Bobby/Ratdog tabs. They don't have much, but they have a few. Two Djinn is below. This song is growing on me, in a cheesy-Bobby sorta way. It's like that slime in Ghostbusters. At first, it's gooey and gross and you don't want it on you; after a while, you kind of get used to it, and then eventually begin to like it in spite of trying not to. Weir has a knack for that kind of song.

Lyrics

Out on the road to west Marin
In a cloud of dust I met two djinn
One bright as pride and thin
The other was fat and black as sin
Isn't this how all good tales begin

The big one looked a lot like you
The other one looked just like you, too
They wound me round, they ran me through
A score of lies they swore were true
Isn't that what genies always do

Night come sudden, night be soon
Bide my time by the dark of the moon
My strange heroes lead me on
But when I get there, they'll be gone

Ever since I was a pup
Deal was I'd sing before I sup
My silver spoon is this beggar's cup
Yes, and when it's empty, I fill up
All I have to do is just show up

The prophet said all flesh is grass
He had a soul like old stained glass
Smile sweet as sassafrass
And that old boy can kiss my ass
Who the hell can wait for life to pass

Night come sudden, night be soon
Bide my time by the dark of the moon
My strange heroes lead me on
But when I get there, they'll be gone

I'm going to Adam's home in a world that we can't see
To sing drunk with the angels, play again for free
The way that is no way, calling you to me
If we don't believe together, we might just cease to be

Way down by the shining gate
The djinn revealed to me my fate
You and I, we got a date
And I'll be there, but you'll be late
Will all things really come to him who waits

Those two djinn, they couldn't stay
Chased away by dawn's first grace
They called back as they ran away
Told me, "Have a real fine day"
Isn't that what genies always say

Night come sudden, night be soon
Bide my time by the dark of the moon
My strange heroes lead me on
But when I get there, they'll be gone

Night come sudden, night be soon
Bide my time by the dark of the moon
My strange heroes lead me on
But when I get there, they'll be gone

A short while back, the door flung wide
We all saw good luck on the other side
The door blew shut, but here's the deal
Dreams are lies, it's the dreaming that's real
Dreams are lies, it's the dreaming that's real...
It's the dreaming that's real...

I know this is an old forum. I also realize I haven't visited the site in a very long time. I've fallen in love with playing this song, It has awesome bobby voicings that make for great finger work. If nobody minds (or cares) I'd like to share them with you proper. I've watched alot of videos of bobby doing this, and really love his shaping.

first off,
intro Asus2-Fmaj7

-0----0--
-17--17-
-16-/17-
-14-/15-

because the major 7th is so pronounced in the Bb you can leave the A string open if you choose (this sounds great acoustic)
-5---5-
-6---5-
-7---6-
-8---7-
(0)--0-
-x---x-
bobby likes to add a trill on the Bb(D string) when he hits the A chord
