hey ya awesome, i came across this guy 2 years ago thanks to a teacher back in highschool. awesome stuff, listen to all the stuff you can from him, lot of good songs, sounds like a really laid back dude. i like "leaves and kings" a lot or "Potters Wheel"

My first band was called The Jack Trippers.
We did a version of Phish's David Bowie but the lyrics were "Reagal Beagle" instead of "David Bowie". And then we replaced the "UB40" line with "Mr. Ferley".

Just saw Josh open for Todd Snider at a little club here in town. Thought he was excellent. It was solo acoustic, and although his guitar playing didn't knock me out, his voice and his lyrics were great, as was his stage presence and the stories he told. He wasn't as good as Todd, but it was very enjoyable.

He's been around for almost 20 years and is a great singer-songwriter. He's living in Nashville, but originally from Portland, Oregon. He's funny as all get out and great to see live. He has several CD's available. One of my faves is East Nashville Skyline. Check him out, if you're not familiar with him.
