The one on Ace because the pedal steel solo is perfection.

I like the later Brent era ones. The 3-28-90 from WOAN, 6-9-90 (Phil is spectacular), and 6-23-90 are all gems in my book.

I happen to dig the 9-11-73 version from William and Mary College alot. That show all around is very excellent.

This is one of my favorite songs, Dead or otherwise. The version I just love is the one on "Without a Net". Bobbys vocals are just great and Garcia fills in the gaps nicely. The ending where Bob is just going off into the mic is classic.

I love 10/29/77. Jerry wails.

there is a version from 1988, I think it might be 4.9.88, that I had on cassette back in '88 or '89. it's excellent and features thunderstorm sounds during the "here come the rain" coda or whatever it's called towards the end. haven't heard it in years, but it was a great instance of where added technical sounds really worked!!

3/30/89 Greensboro, NC
9/2/88 Landover, MD
7/12/89 Washington, D.C.

Isn't it so cool how that simple E chord Bob's strums away at in the beginning of the song can sound so f'n sweet. (without a net) sweet, sweet, sweet.

The acoustic version off the Weir/Wasserman official release is great. You can really pinpoint what Bobby's doin......for once.

Got a tape of a concert which I think was in Germany and also had The Who on the bill. Early to mid eighties I think?

One of my favourite LLR.
