Sell and buy at your own risk...

I wasn't sure if this type of topic was aloud (Im new around here), but since the garage sale descriptions said 'buy' and 'sell' I figured nobody would mind. Anyway, I've been asking around the web and it seems like most builders in my price range are completely booked and busy for the forseable future. As such I'm looking for any and all jerry like guitars whether it be a tribute, replica, or just mild look alike. I mean my biggest wish is for a bolt/tiger phiga/post or other elegant but more on the basic side of the tribute sphere guitars, but as I said I'm interested in everything for sale!

Thanks for looking!

I've seen some nice warmoth builds across eBay over the years, however I'm not really into the idea of putting it all together myself, at the moment, and have the budget to get something more expensive; however at some point I'm thinking about building a strat from some of their parts.

As for Phred I've sent him messages on eBay in the past, sounds like a nice guy, and from what I can tell his guitars are very elegant for the price-tag they have. However I'd like to spend a good deal more to get something a little higher quality, and not that Phreds instruments aren't sufficient; it's just I like the idea of handmade non-factory setting equipment.

That shouldn't be too hard since he used just about everything except the kitchen sink!

(waiting for obligatory "it's all in the hands" response....)

Thanks for the list hippeguy, it was nice to see some builders I didn't know about, but the ones inside my price range are still busy. :[

Also T14-1009 I was looking at that spec history the other day for amp ideas (I've been bouncing between getting a fender blackface or a silverface for a while). I didn't realize how many guitars he's played over the years, plus the site has some nice pics I haven't seen anywhere else.

Ive got a Warmoth WGD - love it. I've done a thru-neck Soulmate - love it. I've done a cocobolo/quilted maple carved top Tele and Soulmate neck tricked out by milobender - love it. I have a Wolf from Scarlet Fire Guitars on the way in the next 1-2 months or so - it looks awesome so far. I've done the work myself and have had those much better than me do it. If you have any questions let me know.

Hi, I've got a Jerry type guitar that I'm considering selling. It's at 1978 Ibanez Musician that has been modded with OBEL, Stratoblaster, Preamp buffer, two SD2s and a single coil at the neck.
It plays wonderfully.

Have a phred wolph that I changed out almost everything on. Can't get the action low enough, and the neck is too thin in my opinion. I have a luthier that is going to set it up as best he can for me. Not a bad guitar, but not worth it if you want something real nice.

I just bought a phiga bolt off eBay, and it is wonderful! Can't say enough. It's just exactly perfect! I rewired it to tiger specs with the three humbuckers, and it sings! It was a steal at $1,300. It too needed a proper set up. Some fret work is all and a minor truss rod adjustment. Otherwise, very well built.

Well, after sorting my life out I'm back to the tone quest! As such, I am again hunting for a (In order of greatest to least) Bolt/Tiger/Eagle replica or tribute. My email is already in the thread, but I can also receive PM's through the fourm. Thanks for reading, peace. :D

(P.S. As incentive for people possibly on the fence about selling, I would be willing to pay more than what you did originally; i.e. If you bought a Phiga Bolt for 1500, I'll give you 1800-1900 resulting in profit on your end.)
