LSD is what showed me that my mind is truly amazing, that it has nearly infinite capacity to be both accurate and precise. It broke me out of patterns that develop from the day to day meaninglessness that modern life has become. We all have these minds that are incredibly complex, but more or less the same. That they are left unchallenged on a daily basis is almost criminally neglectful. I feel like once I became aware that perception might be less constant than I first believed, it didn't matter if I ever took LSD again. Gaining that awareness wasn't dependent on dosage, and it didn't matter how many times I took it. It seemed like I had gained a deeper understanding of human nature (or maybe just my nature) after my collective psychedelic experience. I don't mean that I can identify a significant moment of revelation or epiphany, nor am I saying that anyone who takes LSD will have such a revelation after 1, 10, or 1000 trips, or at all. I just mean, that somewhere in there, I became more familiar with my own mind, and I wouldn't trade that experience for the world.
