I just realized that the 2120 I just bought is not rack mountable as is. I contacted Mcintosh directly, but the rack ears are no longer available. Any ideas????

Middle Atlantic makes custom kits with faceplates for tons of stuff. I just checked, and they do have the MC2120 already in their database. You can also get things custom made, if you need something that isn't in their DB. It is searchable here: http://www2.middleatlantic.com/RSH/mainRSH.asp

The custom ones can be pricey - somewhere between $150-200 each. A more thrifty option could be something like this clamping shelf that I use for my MC2105: http://m.markertek.com/product/detail/h ... tml%5ECAP5

I managed to find a pair of NOS Mac rack ears for the 2120 at audio classics (a dealer of high-end old school stereo gear). You might try them. They also pop up on eBay occasionally. If you're patient you can find them. They're out there.
