Howdy all, Is anyone fimiliar with the fender deluxe 90 dsp. Best I can tell it is not a tube amp. Im looking to replace my super reverb and the deluxe seems to be the direction I'm heading. I found one on Craigs list for $180.00. I can only equate the price to the fact that it is not a tube amp. I am I correct on my assumption. I found some specs on the internet that mention dyna touch circuitry, but thats about it. 90 watts out of one 12" speaker? Can anyone help?
Yes, it's solid state.
Lot's of guys trying to replace twins and super reverbs with deluxe reverbs these days so the Deluxe sells at a premium. I'd expect to pay 900-1500 for a silverface deluxe reverb, but put a D/K/E120 in it and you'll be sounding great. Slightly less expensive but more rare is the Deluxe Reverb II. Very nice Rivera era amp and very under rated. The other option is a reissue deluxe refer. Either could be had used for 650-800.
