ANyone else happen to hear this album? Aw man its a hoot it really is. THere is just some real funny stuff. Like that song. Hey mister. Well Hiya there stranger. hahah good stuff. If ya aint got it get it! Some great simplistic folky garcia/grisman
I've listened to it plenty of times. So often that it got to the point that I couldn't listen to it anymore. That was a long time ago though, so maybe I'll pick it up again. My favorite song is Teddy Bears Picnic.
Just wanted to comment on the "Arkansas Traveler". It always sounded like something off of HeeHaw to me and I absolutely love it. Anytime I play that album for somebody, deadhead or not, they can't help but laugh a little through that whole song.
My favorite line is when he asks if he's lived here his whole life...not yet.
"Stupid music makes people do stupid things"--Anthony From Bonnaroo
When I was 8 or 9 years old, we sang that song i the school choir. It will always take me back to the good ol' days. Ya know... mud-slingin on the playground n such. Ahhhh... Some things never change.
