the first time I heard this Death Dont Have No Mercy I had chills up my back, the vocals, Bobbys great effect over the solo, Brents organ and the fact that Jerry wails on it make this truly fucking mean

I remember these shows well. Billed as "Formerly the Warlocks" since "The Grateful Dead" had been banned from Hampton (or so the rumors go) made it ripe for anticipation of great breakouts and the boys didn't disappoint, pulling out Dark Star and Help and Death (although I think Death showed up at Shoreline a couple days/weeks before?) I had a great time at these shows as I always did in Hampton! Nice seeing some video, since I was more the hall dancer than band watcher.
