Curious as to how many different tunes y'all have in your quiver? We have an ongoing battle between playing songs to death and trotting out new ones that maybe aren't ready to go. I'm firmly in the new tunes camp. Sometimes we will run through a new tune once or twice and then let 'er rip. Let's say the results are mixed. We've played out 8 times and have played 85 different songs. Interested to hear your thoughts.
we have about 125 in the line-up of which I think 15 are just for acoustic shows.
That said, after you guys get another 50 shows under your belts you'll likely find the number of songs per show decreasing as you take time to let the songs breath a bit more, breath between songs more, etc.
We have gone from almost 30 songs a night to now maybe 23 and playing the same amount of time.
