My favorite one wold be "The Wheel" off of Jerry's solo album. That pedal steel souds like its like a million miles away. I love that sound....especially the intro

Another favorite is the Scarlet-Fire jam from May 8, 1977.

I only mention this one because I watched it single handedly destroy two people on two separate occasions. Good Lovin' from Capitol Theater '71. I think 2.20.71 Both times I was driving home a little buzzed in college, however the people in both instances were much drunker than I, riding shotgun in my car. As the jam got heavy, and heavier, and heavier, both times I was asked to pull over so the passenger could get out and vomit. Hence, whenever Jerry was particularly hot in a solo, we would say he could make you puke. Always loved the 2 sides of those Good Lovins, the cheery regular progression, and then the sudden disturbing shift to the minor, and voila. To me, a great long driving tune.
