So I swapped a 69 drip edge Champ and a 60 Valco Dwight for this 74 Bandmaster Reverb TFL 5005D today- and I just could not be happier! WOW- whadda amp! She sings and bounces just beautifully!
Sorry- I'm excited as all get-out, and wanted to share- whether you wanted to see it or not
PS- the empty space on the pedalboard is for an Earth Drive- once I move a few more items!
all good things-

The bonus feature of those is laughing at house sound guys who go to mic up your amp head.

Yeah- the guy I got it from had a sale all lined up, until they guy asked what size speakers it had. He refused to sell to him!

Funny, dude, I just sold my 74 BMR about a year ago! Congrats! A great amp! Great character! what speakers?

Dude! That happened to me! My band's debut gig. Soundguy shoves a 57 into the head. I say, "why don't you mic up the speaker instead".
He looks back kinda embarrassed as I point down to the cab! What concerned me more is someone not checking the back for where the speaker is!?

Is that a custom Twin head or no reverb? I have a 68 dual showman reverb and the DSR and BMR were nearly identical in size.

Yes I think that will work, nice amp. dunno about the box size thing, always too thought they were bigger than that from Fender...

a Twin head! Wow it is short... I thought it was a non-reverb Showman.

The amp on the bottom is a 76 Twin Reverb (with the reverb pan). I bought the chassis, then saved up for an aftermarket (can't recall the name) cabinet to put it into.
My 67 Dual Showman (no reverb) is about the same height, but the Dual Showman reverbs are as big as the BMR.
