nice try....

The knobs for my Tiger project arrived today:

After looking around I thought these looked the closest, and I'm delighted with them. Michael Slotboom at Armadillo Machine works made them. Brass, light knurl, no position marker flat-top knobs. Even came with the allen wrench, and the service and communication was excellent. He said these weren't the first knobs he's made that found their way onto Tigers.

Damn right they're not! I got mine from Armadillo, too. A pleasure to do business with and fine products.

Are they different from regular brass Tele knobs?

They're a little different than the knobs on my tele. My tele knobs are chromed, plus they have little groove and rounded edge on the top. Size and knurl is about the same. I think Armadillo is a tele specialty machine shop.

I just bought some new knobs too, I had a hard time finding pewter, my pickup ring is brushed aluminum, which is very similar. I thought I hit the goldmine seeing these kinda have the actual Rosebud rounded top, solid cast metal, and all 4 were $12!!
