How many guitarists out there using G&L guitars or basses ?

Just curious. All i use are G&L's now.

I have a G+L Telecaster that is my favorite guitar.....I like it a lot better than my Fender Tele....great ax

I have 3 G&L's

G&L 2007 Commanche USA

G&L 2006 Legacy USA

G&L 20?? ASAT S USA (3 pickup, 5 way switch)

I own a Fender Tele that i customized.

2 G&L pickups from a nighthawk and one Seymour in the bridge
Replaced bridge and bridge plate etc
Bone nut
Tuners replaced
but the thing is beat lol needs new frets badly

I owned a G&L 1982-83 Nighthawk but the neck broke :-( hence where the 2 original pickups went ^
the bridge pickup was some POS pickup.

I have an early 80s S-500. Great strat-type axe with the slight (very slight) claim to fame in that it was noodled upon way back in 1988 by none other than Trey Anastasio. Phish played a show at a fraternity at my school and I had left the G&L in the room of a buddy with whom I often jammed. Trey crashed in this guy's room after the show and messed around a bit on my guitar the next morning--or so I was told. He reportedly said it had a nice neck, which it most assuredly does. Strange but true.

I played Fenders for quite sometime and then tried a G&L and ive never looked back. imho G&L builds a better guitar and they are hand made unlike the mass productions from Fender.

Def worth checking out lots of G&L folks out there, just gotta poke around

It's very nice and has some versatility, and like most of Leo's designs, it's well conceived and just works. But it's on the "agressive-punchy" end of the spectrum, more MusicMan than J-Bass.

Probably a lot - they have very high output even in passive mode (PU's + EQ are passive, a 3-way switch offers passive, active preamp or preamp+active-treble-boost).

The other switches are the PU selector and a switch that puts the coils of each PU in series (resulting in a really big fat sound).
